Privacy policy

This policy describes how Desco Assistant handles information when you use the app. The app is a personal project and is not an official DESCO product.

Account sign-in. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile details your provider shares (such as email and name) to create your session and optional saved preferences (for example, a linked prepaid account number you choose to store).

Meter data. When you look up a prepaid account, the app requests billing-style data from DESCO on your behalf. That data is processed to show you insights in the browser for your current session.

Analytics. We may use standard analytics (for example Vercel Analytics) to understand traffic and errors. Check your browser settings if you want to limit cookies or similar technologies.

Retention and security. We use reasonable safeguards for data we store on servers (such as saved account links tied to your user id). We do not sell your personal information. You can stop using the app and sign out at any time.

Changes. We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may also be noted in the app when practical.
